PTFA
Parent, Teacher and Friends Association - PTFA -Supporting Purbrook Park School
It has been proven that schools are stronger when they have a parent body which is committed to both their child/ren and the school that serves them.
Our aim is to COLLABORATE with the school, ENRICH the lives of the children attending through the activities we run and the money we raise, and finally, we SUPPORT the children, schools, parents and teachers.
By getting involved, you can become an incredible part of school life and contribute to the many fundraising events we will organise. Our fundraising will then enhance the educational needs of all pupils.
We are fortunate to have a number of parents who are committed to making our PTFA a huge success. The local community will play an important role in our PTFA, and we will take every opportunity to engage with parents and local residents.
We also run a popular Facebook page - so visit us there for current news and events, plus useful information about the school community. Please visit: Purbrook Park School PTFA and like and follow our page.
The PTFA are committed to raising funds to enhance the opportunities available to the students at our school.
In 2024 we ran the following events to raise funds for the school:
- Travelling Trends (clothes fair)
- Remembering D-Day Fundraiser
- Purbrook Park School Centenary Celebration Summer Fayre
This academic year we are in the throes of planning our Christmas Fayre, which will be held on Saturday 30th November and planning future events for 2025. Please follow our Facebook page for more information...
Would you like to join our PTFA?
Interested in the PTFA? We are always looking for helpers to join us on the committee. It’s only a few informal meetings during the year, a great way to get involved in your child's school, raise money and make new friends!
If you are interested in getting involved with our Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA) or any of our school events, please email: purbrookparkschoolptfa@gmail.com
Alternatively, if you leave your name and contact details at the school, a member of the PTFA team will get back to you.
Donations
In these financially constrained times, the school appreciates all forms of parental and community support and donations. If you are interested in making a one-off and/or larger donation, or have any contacts with businesses or funding organisations who might be interested in helping the school directly, please contact the Finance Team on; finance@purbrook.hants.sch.uk or call 02392 370351 or you can scan and donate via the QR code below:
